Just in time for graduation iX-873c is officially complete. It will not be available online right away (also Sunny Side Up is not available online), but it will be screening all next week at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in room 148, then the large exhibition after the graduation ceremony on May 7th in auditorium 150. Everyone involved made this movie turn out to be quite a success and I want to thank them all. It’s late, yet there is so much more I have to say, so check back soon for an update on what’s next for iX-873c as well as Sunny Side Up, and the other projects I have in the works.

Sunday, April 24th, 2011IX 873c – The Movie
Sunday, April 10th, 2011I am very pleased with the outcome of Sunny Side Up, and want to thank the cast and crew for helping make such a wonderful movie. It’s been a while since I have updated the site, but things are moving slowly but surely. I have been excited to be working on updating the MelraePictures.com website. They are a very exciting company to be involved with and I recommend taking a look at their website and hopefully watching a few of their movies.
IX 873c is the story of a man desperate to create a ship that will take him away from his current life. In his laborious attempts to create the ship he consistently runs into issues, and is pestered by the 14 year old boy next door. No matter how much he tries the young boy can never create the father-son relationship that he is dying to have with the man.
Josh Boertje plays the man and Ameris Martin plays the boy. If you don’t recognize these names already, you are certain to be seeing more from them in the future. These two actors are immensely talented and I would be honored to work with them again.
Dean and Craig Schneider spent a lot of time in the construction of the ship. Thanks to their hard work the designs came through as originally planned and the movie is looking incredible because of it. As with all movies, we had our ups and downs, but the end result is sure to entertain everyone. Keep checking back to see the latest from IX 873c.
